Sol for PoCo
Election Day · Oct 17, 2026 --- D -- H -- M -- S

I'm a service industry manager and public transit advocate who has called Port Coquitlam home for over 20 years! PoCo gave my family a stable, affordable place to live. I'm running to make sure others have that same chance, and the choice to stay or return. The people who keep this city running, and those who don't see themselves reflected in politics, deserve a voice at the table.

A PoCo that's affordable, connected, and built for everyone.

+

Affordable Recreation

Free rec for kids under 12. Subsidized access for all low-income residents.

Free recreation for kids under 12 and extending the subsidized rate to all low-income residents, regardless of age. Removing cost barriers means more kids in the pool and families not worrying about the math of participation.

+

More Housing Options

Bring back the housing types PoCo used to build well.

Bring back the housing types PoCo historically built: walk-ups, rowhouses, and multi-unit dwellings in every neighbourhood. Increase options so coworkers, neighbours, and seniors who grew up here can actually afford to stay.

+

Faster, Reliable Transit

Buses that actually show up. Better service where it's needed most.

Transit signal priority to speed up buses and frequent, connected service in underserved areas throughout Southside and Fremont. Advocating for later-running routes so residents aren't stranded after dark. Vehicle ownership should be a choice, not a requirement and a cost burden.

+

Local Resilience & Business

More neighbourhood economy. Less monopolies.

Zoning reform to make it easier to open small, neighbourhood businesses through accessory commercial units. Advocating for tools to let municipalities tackle predatory commercial rent increases and vacancies head-on. More local economy, fewer monopolies, and more opportunities for the entrepreneurs who actually live here.
